cannot believe it's already the middle of april. been doing a lot of adjusting to my new schedule--class twice a week, work twice a week. my preceptor only works sunday-monday, so i have a sun-mon-tues-fri schedule, which kind of sucks cuz i never really get a full weekend off. like i had anticipated, i feel like a new grad rn retard who doesnt know anything. i find myself scared to do things that i was never scared of doing on the floor, and doubting things that i know i know. i am sure it will come to me in time, but for now it's a lot of...learning and feeling like a dumb ass--to put it simply. haha! fortunately, i have a really smart yet really bubbbbly preceptor--i think they did a great job matching our personalities:) so that is the work aspect.
this past weekend, i attended the easter vigil mass and i was jazzys ninang for her re-baptism into the catholic church and holy communion. whattta looooong mass! i was at church from 630-1130p!! i couldn't belieeeve it! i spent easter sunday at work, but afterwards i headed to ate fes for a lil gathering where we all chilled by a fire in the backyard and talked..that was nice.
me--you guys have probably noticed that white moo-tah looking thing by my eye that i thought would need surgical removal. anywayys, today it popped and a little white hard thing came out! lol..too much info, but i was soo happy for this event today =) no more annoying white thing by my eye when i look in the mirror..for now.
lastly, i asked my manager if i could have may1-3 off and miraculously she said YES! sooo, i am going to VEGAS! sooo, sooo, soooooooooooo excited=) ive always wanted to go on a pacquaio fight weekend! it will be me, jamie, carla, daze, kimt, kimg, and joanne. yippeeee:) and any of you guys if you can go! it should be lotsa fun. bc of the $$$ we are planning on flying up and driving home cuz it is very costly for flights!
bc of jamie, i have a huge obsession for japanese fashion magazines and i have been oogly-googly eyed over all the clothes and shoes........i wanna go shoppping!! so if anyone wants to plan a shopping trip with me, let's do it!! i want shooes! accessories! everything!
anyways this is soo long. i have a pulmonary test to study for. i will leave you with pictures at bar 923, where we had a little high school reunion...talking about how our 10-year is in 3 years! omg. we wanna arrive in helicopters....lol.
